Hello everyone. Today I would like to tell you about one of my favourite singer, Takeo Ischi.

Takeo Ischi was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1947, he was study mechanical engineering, because his father was an engineer and his family motivate to study a similar career. But Takeo was a fan of Franz Lang, one the most famous yodeler in the world. For that reason, he was travel toward Germany for study music. Later he became famous to sang in the Zurich Beerfest.

Today is one the most famous yodeler in the world and he is known as the “Japanese yodeler”. I like so much his way of singing. Because is very joyful and likeable, this is reflected in his great successful in YouTube, website allowed me to know he. I listen to his music when I am sad and help me a lot to be in better spirits.

His principal hits are “New Bibi-hendl”, “Einen Jodler hör ich gern” and “Chicken attack”, to name only a few. I invite you to visit his videos on YouTube, you will not regret. Attached the links of his videos.

Blog 9: Changes to My Study Program

  Hello there. In this opportunity I´m go to talk about changes in my study program of Art Theory and History at the University of Chile. When I entered this career, the study programme had just been changed and my generation was only the second with the new programme. Therefore, in the time I have been in my career, the new curriculum has been adjusted because of the testing process that is in course. One of the biggest changes that has taken place is the change from a thesis to a dissertation. This reduces the extension of the final work required for graduation and accommodates it within the four years of the undergraduate programme. I consider it is beneficial for us as students, as it removes some of the stress that is involved in a thesis. I think the new curriculum has adapted well, though there were obvious problems caused by the pandemic, particularly with respect to internships. Blog 10: English Language Challenges.

Hello everyone. In this opportunity I will tell you about my experience learning English at university. In the second semester of 2019 I was taking English II for the first time. In this moment I was very excited to take English class again, because since 2015 I have not taken any kind of classes. Except for the experience of living with English speakers in 2016. but when I was taking English II, I didn't remember much. The English course in 2019 started off very well, the professor was nice, but due to the context of our faculty, which was on strike, I stopped living in Santiago, everything became more difficult after October, therefore the English course was cancelled, so stop worrying about English. Already in the first semester of 2020, I was determined to progress with the English courses.
